A further one bites the dust. Yet yet another unexpected game has been announced for the iPhone and iPod Touch this week and this time it is from EA.
No it is not 'Need For Speed' though exactly where is that? But it is EA's extremely popular squad based FPS 'Battlefield Poor Company 2' released earlier this year for consoles but not handhelds. In all probability the most unlikely game of all EA titles to come to the App Store, I would have believed EA would put out 'Medal of Honour' at some point.
The thing that reviewers and gamers praised 'Bad Company 2' for was the on-line multiplayer. And yes the iPhone and iPod Touch version will also have on the web multiplayer, EA didn't honestly announce anything in terms of what we will see on the internet wise.
Nonetheless they gave a ton of information about single player. There will be 14 missions in total (expect in App Purchases) they will all be set across different terrains and environments. Such as Jungle, Snow and Dessert. Looking at the graphics inside the screenshots I've seen, NOVA 2 and Contemporary Combat two have some series competition this Christmas.
That's all the official info but judging by the screenshots we will be driving vehicles and just as someone pointed out on Twitter the environments are destructible which is extremely cool. One factor they haven't spoken about is no matter whether an iPad version will make the cut.
It is shaping up to be an amazing game and we hope to be able to assessment it as soon as released.
